**VENDOR’S INSIGHT**
‘We lived here for 35 happy years. We were fresh out of University and one of the first to move into the new estate. We could not believe our good fortune when we saw the size and finish of the house, the garden, plenty of open space, excellent parking and the end of the road making it very safe for the family we were planning.
It was originally a 2-bedroom house. We raised our 2 sons there and we all still have a big soft spot for the house. Over the years, we extended it twice because the thought of leaving it was too much to bear at the time..For many years, I commuted into London and walked to Knebworth station most mornings and some evenings. The fresh air and a good walk was a great way to start the day.Four years ago, with the children grown up and grandchildren now a part of our lives, we decided it was time for a change. We decided to keep number 72 and let out for a while in case we wanted to return to Stevenage. We recently decided that it’s time to let someone else enjoy the house as we did. It would be lovely to hear in a few years’ time that a a young family are going through a similar journey to the one we did.’
